Alison Morris



Alison Morris anchors the FOX CT News at 5 p.m., 10 p.m., and 11 p.m. She has also anchored the station’s coverage of the Sandy Hook Tragedy, the Boston Marathon Bombings, and most recently the Boston Red Sox World Series Win and Super Bowl XLVIII.

Prior to moving to Hartford, Alison was a general assignment reporter for KDKA-TV in Pittsburgh. During her five-year stay in The Burgh, Alison was a lead reporter on several award-winning national news stories including The Sago Mine Tragedy, The LA Fitness Shootings, The G-20 Summit and Ben Roethlisberger’s motorcycle accident. Her reports have appeared on The CBS Early Show and CBS affiliates nationwide. She also covered two Steelers Super Bowl victories and the Penguins’ two trips to the Stanley Cup Finals.

Before working at KDKA, Alison spent three years in Paris, France where she wrote for the Wall Street Journal Europe and reported on the French Stock Market (The CAC-40) for CNBC Europe. She is fluent in French and tries to return to Paris often to practice the language, visit friends, and eat great food.

Living in Hartford is a homecoming for Alison. She was born and raised on Long Island in New York and graduated cum laude from Yale University in New Haven.

Alison is a huge sports fan, and an avid runner. Outside of work, you’ll often find her hitting the pavement in training for her next marathon, or rooting for the New York Yankees, both alongside her husband, Scott. She also loves to cook, and chase after her beloved Boxer, Riley.
